What counts as fly-tipping?
Any waste dumped on land without permission is fly-tipped waste. Common items include black bags, furniture, builder’s rubble, tyres, appliances and mixed household or trade waste. It can block access, attract vermin and create health and fire risks. Clearing it quickly protects residents and reduces repeat dumping.
Who is responsible for clearance?
- Private land: landowner or managing agent arranges removal. We can attend, document, clear and provide paperwork for insurance or internal reporting.
- Public land: usually the local council. If you are unsure, we can advise and still quote for a private clean if required.
Our fly-tip clearance process
- Assess and quote: send photos, postcode and access notes. We confirm a fixed, all-in price.
- Attend and secure: uniformed crew arrives, photographs the site and blocks off the work area if needed.
- Load and tidy: waste is loaded safely. We sweep and pick small debris to leave the area tidy.
- Paperwork: you receive a Waste Transfer Note with the time, date, description of waste and our carrier number.

- Builder’s waste: timber, rubble, bricks, tiles, plasterboard (kept separate where possible)

Items we cannot take
We cannot collect asbestos, gas cylinders, fuels or oils, wet paint or solvents, clinical or biological waste, explosives or fireworks. Ask us for safe alternatives. We can connect you with specialists if needed.
